Stone High Street revs up for classic car event

Classic Car EventStone’s High Street and Market Square will be hosting a collection of classic cars on Saturday 21st September.

Stone Town Council are following up on last year’s successful event, however this year the weather is looking very sunny!

The large collection of classic cars will be on display on Saturday 21st September, between 10:30 am and 3:00pm. The event is once again supported by local resident Peter Cresswell who as part of Stone Classic Car Group has co-ordinated his friends and colleagues into bringing their Classic Cars to Stone.

There’s due to be a myriad of vehicles on display so there’s bound to be a vehicle that reminds you of a car from your past.

Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee said

“The Town Council is pleased to be able to bring a Classic Car event to Stone High Street once again. With a wide range of vehicles dating from the 1930s to the 1980s there is sure to be something for everyone. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Peter to bring this event to fruition.”
