Staff at Specsavers Stone are raising money for Stone Community First Responders with their back-to-school spin the wheel challenge.
The store on the High Street will be running the challenge until November to raise money for the charity to purchase a new First Responder vehicle. The store is also encouraging parents and guardians to prioritise their children’s eye health as they begin the new school year.
The team at Specsavers Stone have crafted a wheel presenting customers with the opportunity to win back-to-school themed prizes, including pens, bookmarks and notepads for a donation of £1 per spin.
‘As a charity that entirely relies on donations, we’ve decided to raise funds to support the incredible work that Stone Community First Responders do in our local area,’ says Specsavers Stone store director, Anoop Kaur Bains. ‘With pupils returning to school this month, we also want to highlight the importance of children’s eye health. So far, customers have been loving the spin the wheel activity. It’s great to be raising awareness of a wonderful, local charity, as well as giving pupils the chance to win back-to-school themed prizes!’
The funds raised will be donated to Stone Community First Responders who deliver emergency first aid to residents within the Stone area of Staffordshire in accordance with instructions and guidance from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
For more information or to book an appointment, visit the store located at 15 High Street, Stone between 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, or call the store directly on 01785 812308.
