Road closures will be in place around Stone town centre on Saturday 6 June as the Stone Carnival parade makes its way to Westbridge Park.
The official closure notice covers 10.30am to 12.30pm, although the parade is not due to leave Alleyne’s Sports Centre until 11.15am.
Roads on and around the parade route are expected to be affected while the procession moves through the town. Closures may be managed in phases, with roads reopening as the parade passes, but drivers should allow extra time and avoid the route where possible during the morning.
The parade route shown runs from the Alleyne’s area towards the town centre, passing through central Stone before heading down towards Westbridge Park.
Anyone travelling into Stone for the carnival, town centre shopping, appointments, or other Saturday plans is advised to check their route and allow for delays between late morning and lunchtime.
