A Staffordshire drone videographer has helped capture Stone Carnival Week from above, giving residents a different view of one of the town’s biggest community events.
Daniel Baker, owner of Angel Eye Drone Services, volunteered his services to Stone Carnival at no cost, filming aerial footage during the week to show the scale of the events and the setting of Stone itself.
The footage includes 4K widescreen videos of the parade and carnival weekend, along with coverage of Two Wheel Tuesday, when motorcycles filled Stone High Street as part of the carnival programme.
Daniel also produced shorter vertical clips for Stone Carnival’s social media reels, helping the organisers share more of the week online.
Angel Eye Drone Services is a local drone videography business based in Staffordshire. Daniel said the aim of the Carnival Week coverage was to capture the crowds, key locations and wider town setting from angles people would not usually see.
He planned flights around different activities during the week and said the work was carried out safely and within Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
The videos offer a wider look at the carnival, from the parade route and weekend crowds to Stone’s streets, green spaces and town centre landmarks.
